We started in on World War I, we talked about the countries involved, the Ottoman Empire, it was a crumbling empire, Gernany was the top dog, the allied powers like France, England and US. Germany was fighting a two side war, it had no chance of winning, they were surrounded.Czar Nicholas was running Russia at the time of the war. World war I ended all of that. A lot of the leaders over there were related. Kaiser Willhelm was the leader of germany at the time, he had a pointy helmet, that's how they knew they were German.World War I was very imperialism based, there was a lot of anger of other countries owning foreign lands.The underline causes of World War I were, most people think it was the assassination of Franz Ferdinland. But Militarism was a strong cause because most countries had a very nice military and were ready to use them.Imperialism as well- it brings about greed, and taking over other countries.Alliances are brought up because of distrust.
