Today we watched a video about climate change, They talked about how the rise in temperature is melting the ice at the poles. Polar bears are dying because the ice is all melting so they have to swim more than theyre used to and they drown. In the video the people found a mother polar bear and her two cubs. They shot a dart into the mom so they could do tests on her. The were measuring how long she was and things like that.They also talked about coastal islands that are in danger of flooding. The people who live on these islands are having a tough time because for a certain island the people's gardens are getting flooded so they rely on the government for food. They only get a supply of food twice a year. Also with the flooding you get swamps which attract misquitoes and they bring diseases like malaria.
