So, I think that we might get done with WWI today. I hope. Bruns started talking about the treaty of versailles and that was what ended the war. There were four countries that met, France, Italy, Enland and U.S. Woodrow Wilson was the person who represented the U.S. and like he had 14 points that he wanted the treaty of versailles to do. France wanted to make the treaty so that Germany would loose more money and land. Germany lost land to Belguim, Denmark, and France, and a few more coutries. The treaty said that Germany had to make their army smaller to like 100,000 men. They couldnt use tanks or like airplanes. They could only have six ships and they couldnt have submarines. Germany was printing off money and it made it useless to the U.S. dollar. Also in the treaty was the war guilt clause. We made Germany take responsibility for the war. We made Germany do it. It was kind of like a slap in the face to Germany and Hitler didnt like it. Japan liked the treaty because they got a lot of territory on the coast and they got land from Germany's colonies. There was a league of nations and it was a group that wanted to keep the world at peace. Woodrow Wilson wanted the leage included in the treaty. It only had five members which were, France, Italy, Great Britain, Japan and the U.S. The U.S. was never like completely joined. Woodrow Wilson persuaded people so that the U.S. woulc be a member.
