Today(aka yesterday), in class, we immediately set off to watch Hotel Rwanda, which is about the very genocide.The movie is about a Hutu chap with a Tutsi wife and halfsie children, which becomes a problem later in the movie. The man is the manager of a 4 star hotel, and he has solid money and jazz. We got a mildly decent way through it. We even made it to the part where the Hutu (propaganda) radio stations said "we need to cut the tall trees,' which signified the Hutus must kill all of the Tutsi rebels, who are relatively taller and have lighter skin. We ended the class with us seeing his neighbor, Hector, being killed by Hutu soldiers.I believe Bruns also taught us how to run the thingamajig, as in the projector/sound system, as there was a sub comin our way
