pretty much the same as yesterday. There is virtually nothing going on in class except for research and the oral testing. Erin and I are working together on the semester project blog thing so we spent some of the clas time deciding how we are going to mass together all of our plethera of knowledge and information that will be given during our presentation. In the 1920's boxing was becoming a very popular sport. With availability for news and broadcasting that the radio gave to families across America, boxing was broadcasted live. This gave people a far greater interest in boxing and in other sports than they would otherwise have had if they were to simply read about the fight in the newspaper. It helped bring the match home and people felt as if they were connected to the world witht their little talking wooden boxes.
