There isn't really too much to talk about today. Mr. Bruns is still trying to finish up the oral testing, and everyone else is blogging and stuff. I am doing my research on my semester blog. Chapter 13, Section 1 will be pretty easy seeing as how the whole thing is basically about the Prohibition. If you have forgotten, I nailed the Prohibition blog. The Prohibition created far more harm than the good that it was intended for. People found ways to make, sell, and distribute alcohol in ways that the Prohibitionists had never thought possible. There were as many as 100,000 speakeasies in New York City alone during this time. Speakeasies were small clubs that either groups of friends or the mofia controlled. They were a secret and convenient way for people to gather without being seen in public to do their drinking, gambling, drugs, and prostitution. What a fun time eh?
