How they came to power?

Mongol Empire started with multiple invasions

Mongol Empire tried to invade Japan....they failed

Even though the Mongol Empire was dominating japan in the beginning 

A typhoon is what saved Japan

Mongols tolerated the people's living practices whom they've conquered

How they Lived

Children- Taught from a young age many survival skills and to respect their parednts

They were Nomads- Lived in homes called yurts and used camels and oxen

The Mongolian leaders loved theatre (Acrobats, mines, and colorful costumes

How they lost power

Broke up into 4 smaller empires- 1260

Broke up due to internal factors

Yuan Dynasty (China) 14th century

Golden Horde (Russia) 14th Century

Built an army of 20,000 men

Wanted to unite all Mongol tribes

Defeated the Rival Mongol tribe and got the title Genghis Khan
