We started class by some TINA TURNER! Rollllin...Rolllllin. haha. Then, we went into watching a video about the world being flat. I honestly have no idea what it is right now. There's just a dude talking, with some pretty dry jokes. Then, Thomas Friedman started to speak. He talked aboutGlobalization is the world shrinking to a size. Knowing things instantly. We learned what Globalization 1.0,2.0, and 3.0 were. Things wouldn't have been open to the young america if there wasn't a flat world. Google, Ebay, etc.2. Briefly describe Globalization 1.0.It lasted from 1492 to the early 1800s. It shrunk the world from size large to size medium. Based on countries globalizing because of resources, land, and money.3. Briefly describe Globalization 2.0.Early 1800s to 2000s. It shrunk the world from size medium to size small. You went global from your company. U.S. companies going all over the world.4. Briefly describe Globalization 3.0.2000- Present. Shrinking the world from size small to size tiny. The era of globalization is built by individuals globalizing. It is not going to be dominated by white males, but by people every color of the rainbow.5. Why was the Berlin Wall a flattener of the world? The fall of the wall aloud us to think of the world as a flat plane. The world was split into two parts, Communists and Democracy.
