Today we had a quiz over the Great Depression and the Stock Market Crash. We had to have 3 answers for each question. We went over our project information again just to make sure what people had and make sure everyone has the correct project information. The length of our project does not matter. The more visuals the better, if you put a lot of pictures it helps seeing things rather than trying to just hearing what people have to say about their topic. You have to use Google Doc’s, Zoho, or PowerPoint. If you make a PowerPoint you automatically get 10 points. We also did Blog Discussion today.Blog Discussion:Tara did entertainment in the 1920’s. Radios became very popular and so did movies. The first colored movie is the Wizard of Oz in 1939.Emily talked about President Roosevelt and how he began to talk to the U.S. citizens through a radio. People felt as though he was talking to them personally.Ben did something but did not talk loud enough so that I could understand him.Kayley did her blog over John Collier and how he studied the Native Americans. He is one of the first people to study the Native Americans. For the first time almost ever that we began to treat the Native Americans right.Riley had the social security act. It gave money to the disabled and to unemployed people.Courtney did the environment. She talked about President Roosevelt and how he helped the environment by passing acts to try and help the environment.Ashley did entertainment also.I did my blog over the NIRA.Zach K did his blog over the Federal Reserve Bank. He talked about how it set up stuff for the bank and helped some of the banks.Erin did her blog over the Migrate Mother. She talked about how people did get pictures of people that were suffering. FSA gave 20,000 pounds of food to a specific camp to help people out.Nate did his blog over Francis Perkins and she was to first women to have a cabinet position and held it for 12 years.
