Today we talked about our project and which ones we have to research. Every person has 2 things to research. The 2 things I got were National Recovery Administration (NRA)/ National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA), and The 3 R’s of the depression. Mr. Bruns said that we have to do google docs or power point. He also said that we have to have pictures. We start our presentations Tuesday. He also told us our weekly blog. It is, choose something from our projects. We also did our blog discussion. We talked about pooling, raising interest rates, what happened before black Thursday, and black Tuesday. He said that people were buying on margin which people were buying stuff and thought the could pay it all later, but some of them couldn’t. The government peruses a higher tariff. Effects= people suffer unemployment, hunger, and poverty, industrial and farm production fails.
