Again we started with the asia maps; added the south east area to the austrailia, india, middle east, former soviet, and china areas. thats a lot of areas, but they are getting easier to remember, especially the australia area, which im getting nearly perfect every time now. The south east (indonesia) area, right above australia, seems kind of hard, if only because its mostly islands. We moved on the continue with the iraq discussion, starting with post-war stuff. People hadnt liked the war, and it was mostly about oil, and people were happy when saddam was found and captured. The war continued after they thought it was over. (this topic also moved into big moments during the bush administration) The reason the war has lasted so long was becasue we couldnt set a time table for fear of the terrorists just waiting for us to leave before they took over their country again, and we would have made no progress at all. Next was the topic of the Obama administration, which apparently no one did.....we got off topic with info on the backgrounds of famous evil dictators...most of them were teachers (O.o) *brainwashing children since 1933!* lol, it sounds like an infomercial or something. anyway, then we went to a recap of everything, so we would know what was going to be on the oral test. We watched a powerpoint called "did you know 1.0" ...or something like that..,.maybe it was 4.0? anyways, it was about how fast our world is changing...it was almost scary.
