Today we finished up the chapter 10.We talked about the Philippines. After we took control we made sure that they had a stable government. The Filipinos thought that we would give them freedom. A guy that was a flippeneno found out that we were going to take over them. He assumed that we would give them independents. When he found out that we were not going to give them independents he turned on us and started fighting us.The panama cannel. The canal is a shipping line between the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. It saved time and money. We bought the right to build the cannel from the French.I think that the cannel was a great thing to build. If it wasn’t built then we would have a tough time getting across to places.
