We had presentations again today. Lindsey, Sarah, and Maddie finished their slideshow. Lindsey talked about renewable and nonrenewable resources. She said that coal is an example of a nonrenewable resource and wind is renewable because it will always be around. Mr. Bruns said we need to try to stop being so dependant on fossil fuels because some of the money we pay for them goes to terrorist groups. Allisha Alex and Jenna did their presentation next. They had global warming. There are many things that cause global warming. Some people think humans are the cause of global warming. But there are also natural things that contribute to global warming. They said that if the polar ice caps keep melting then coastal areas might flood.Then we did our current event discussion because the group the was supposed to go next was having issues. Jordan talked about Ted and Patrick Kennedy. He said that Ted was a bad person because he was drunk one night after a party and crash his car and then just left and the girl that was with him died. He talked about his son Patrick and how he hasn't worked a day in his life and he has issues with drugs and alcohol. Payton talked about a ship that sank in Indonesia. Drea talked about a guy that was drinking at a bar and he left for a bit and ended up getting stabbed. He went back into the bar to finish his beer.
