Today we talked about the sections for chapter 11. The cause of world war one. I got the System of Alliances. This took up most of the class period. We then did get to some of chapter 9 done.15. What/who were muckrakers and what impact did they have on our country?- A person who tried to show people the truth.16. What did businesses do to bring better efficiency to their business?- Before it took forever to make things cause they had to use little tool. And do every thing by hand.- During the progressive era they used assembly lines.- Hennery Ford crated the five dollar work day. If the workers got paid more then they would work harder. Corruption.- Today show that goes under cover Michele Moor did a piece on 911.- They are called investigating journalists.I think that muckrakers were a good thing, because then the people could watch out for what was wrong. I think that the five dollar work day was a good idea because it gave people more money and they worked better.
