Shared assigned free choice blog topics again today. Lots of sad stories, as usual. plus a fun off-topic about how to hire a hitman! lol.so, mine was on the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping. Some other stories were a guy who fell into a coma from H1N1, a "robber" saved by facebook, a guy who wakled in on his own funeral, the percentage of people who smoke has risen 1%, a 13 month old baby was diagnosed with a disease where his lungs filled with water every few hours and the parents made the decision to take him off life support (basically mercy killing), and the Jacee Dugard case hasnt been resolved yet, the Mayan's 2012 end-of-the-world theory, a depressed soccer player comitted suicide by stepping in front of a train, (off-topic maniac sharks) crazy school that banned sound effects and suspended a girl for buzzing, etc.We moved on to the Canada map, and then we went over deadlins. The powerepoint/group/thing is officially due friday.
