Today in class we kept watching the Friedman video. He talked about the things that brought the world closer, starting with the Berlin wall falling and ending with 9-11. He said that the belin wall was very important in bringing communism closer to home. Then he talked about Netscape, which made everyone able to surf the net. Then, he talked about companies laying millions of fiber optics cables which allowed for everywhere to get on the world wide web and add or share information. Then he got on the topic of 9-11, which made the US get closer than ever with the middle east and other countries who opposed the attack. That just happened.
