Well, we started off class without computers...crazy, i know. considering it is a computer class! We started to watch some video about Global warming. "planet in peril"..or something. The video is talking about where Global Warming is happening and who its affecting.The video took us to Greenland...the temperature increased 8 degrees Fahrenheit in the last ten years.in the last 40 years some spots of ice have decreased by 40%. Even greenlands geography is changing. Polar bears and other mammals are dying because of global warming. The ice it needs to live is dissappearing. The ice sheet on top of Greenland is quickly melting away. 2000 people live in Papa New Guinea and are literally being washed away. Malaria is the number one killer of that country. People are being forgotten.People can't make their own food. They have to rely on the government, They only get food 2 times a year..Coral reefs are getting very bleached and are dying. Carter Rets,an island, is sinking.Coral reefs often die after bleaching..coral reefs are protecting those islands.
