Continued the discussions from yesterday. Doing blog in class again. News flash- Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for seemingly no reason, but that he tried hard to strengthen bonds with other countries and stop nuclear weapons. So, basically, he got it for doing nothing but publicize his ideas and motives; he hasn't actually done anything yet. In other news....NASA shot the moon and got no reaction. How dissapointing.Nuclear Weapons in Iraq/Iran area: In a nutshell....the UN says no, they made them anyway. We are unhappy, the US takes things into our own hands instead of waiting for the UN to made a move. More unhappiness, the Iran government continues to lie about creating nuclear weapons (which they were told not to do) and we continue to find them guilty.Other than that, we started to go around and share the nesstories we were assigned to read. Mine was number four, and we didnt get to mine today. We got through 1, 2, and 3 though. One was about the NASA-moon thing, one was about health care (again), and the other one was about different world religion. Mine, which we didn't get to yet, is about how our soldiers are going to have to stay in Afghanistan and Iraq until the job is done, and why its a good thing to do so.
