Today was the last day of the debate and we hit the topics of US Role in War in Iraq, US Role in Afghanistan, and US role in the United Nations. The Democrats views on the US role in the War in Iraq is that we should pull the troops out and move them to Afghanistan. I disagree with that because if we take the troops out Iraq will go to the way they were before and that wouldnt be good so i am on the Republicains side which they believe that we need to keep what we were doing or we could lose the war.The Democrates views on US Role in Afghanistan is that this war is more important then the war in Iraq and we need more troops in Afghanistan. I disagree with that. The Republicains believe that the war in Afghanistan is just as important as the war in Iraq. I agree with this because if we pull out of either place we lose allies and lose a war. That wouldnt be good.US role in the United Nations is way different on eachside. I agree more with the Republicains because they believe that we should stay invovled with the United Nations since not many countries like us. They believe we are an evil country so we need to prove we arent. The democrats believe we need to drop out of the United Nations. They believe it isnt helping us in anyway and just causing us more problems. I disagree with the Democrats we need to stay in and make more allies.
