We continued our current event discussion. Heather did the floods in Georgia. Sarah did hers on the resent discovery of a fossil of a human, It looks like a gorilla. Stacy did hers on the earthquake that hit a different country. Many thousand people died. We discussed why when U.S. has earthquakes not as many people die. When earthquakes hit other cities their buildings crumble and fall while ours stay standing. That is kinda cool but said. Maddison did hers on where the olympics are going to take place. Obama wanted it to be in Chicago but it is in Reo(dont know who to spell it) in South America. Its the first time to be in South America. Megan did hers on abortion. The DOW went up to 9,929.78. YAY!!! it needs to go up to 10,000 so we get donuts:) just hopefully no tuesday.Brie did hers on top 10 riches of 2009. Drea did hers on the unemployment rate is up to almost 10(aka 9.8). Payton did hers on what obama said about the nuclear program in Iran. Mr Bruns went more into it. I think that it needs to be put to a stop. Drake had DOW JONES. He went more into it and why we keep track of it. We keep track of it for our stock market and how the buisnesses are doing. I really couldn't hear liz. so yea. There is alot of information. some of it goes in one ear and out the other lol that is kinda a funny saying. We went into the blog discussion and thats all we did in class.
