FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER :)Chapter 5-1 -men- were protectors,made tools, weapons and shilds.women- were "homemakers" or housewife. cleaned, cured, scraped and tanned the hide.children -mostly learned things by stories told by their grandparents.girls- mostly played with deerskin dolls and learned to do what older women didboys - played with bo and arrow taught to do what men did, go on first hunt at age 12indians and buffalo- used pretty much everyhing from the buffalo, plains indians followed buffalowhen whites came over killed buffalo for sport so population decreased,so now they are sheltered.horses- 1540 brought over by spanishbefore horses indians used dogs
