We continued to discuss the legalization of marijuana. Some pro legalization facts would be that the legalization of marijuana can bring in a lot of tax money to go to schools and police departments, etc. Also, the legalization can cause less people to be arrested, so that less tax dollars have to go to prisons. In Colorado, ever since Marijuana was legalized, there had been a decreased amount of arrests and no increase in teen usage of the drug. At the end of class, we shared our opinions on whether marijuana should be legalized or not and most of the class stood on the side that was pro legalization.

We discussed Jeff Flakes appearance on CNN to criticize Trump on always calling news Fake News. Flake Also compared Trump to Stalin, who controlled all news that was released to the public, to make himself look good, and brainwash the country.
1/18/18
We finished up out Europian map. The Fake News awards have also been released, with New York Times winning the #1 Fake News award. Apple is also looking to bring ten thousand jobs by bringing in a Factory in the US. The government also put out a terrorist report.
1/19/18
We went over western Europes Countries and Capitols as a class. We also talked about how CTE is not caused just by concussions, but just by repeaded hits to the head in general. CTE is a disease that develops through a build up of Mou in the brain from constant hits to the head or brain. The Czech Republic has also gotten a new name recently. Czechia. There has also been many travel bans in several muslim countries. People have also created a Tide Pod Challenge, where people are consuming Tide Pods and challenging their friends to do the same, and people are getting sick from it.
