So there was an apparent hacking scare on Xbox live about a month ago.
According to Ars Technica's report, EA's FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 soccer sims are two games frequently cited in the hacking incidents that it has been told about. The typical report involves gamers being notified via email that charges have been made to their on-file credit card.
Upon further investigation, the victims of the hack found that whoever was behind it was downloaded a FIFA game, as well as large number of Microsoft points. These points we3re then spent on Gold Premium Packs and other downloadable content for the game.
EA, the creators of FIFA, have not commented about the hacking scare.
The final verdict was that Xbox Live is still safe. However, Microsoft warns Xbox Live users not to take their security for granted.
So tell me, what are your thoughts?

That is pretty scary. I was on Xbox last night for the first time in a month or two. I can't stand people who need to hack to get stuff. Go out get a job, pay for the card and microsoft points then be happy. Also I don't have FIFA 11 or 12.
