WWI was one of the biggest wars the US has ever seen, 20 million people died in world war 1 and I'm sure a lot more were injured, and yet it only took 4 years of battle to become the the greatest war of the decade. There were a lot of specially made weapons in WWI and 2/3 of them were bayonets that was used mainly by the french and germany.Most of the french used them more for hand to hand combat, but there were some that did use it for long range shooting. The british used mortars that was used as a cannon that launched explosive shells that would land everywhere and kill thousand of people if not, more. Mortars are like bombers in the sense that they both can kill tons of people at the same time.

I believe the worst way to go out in battle is Getting blownup by a mortar or getting stabbed by a bayonet because you go through a lot of pain.
2 If the archduke wasn't assasinated, do you think the war woud've still eventually happened, or do you think none of the war would've happened?
I believe that it wouldn't have happened if the archduke wasn't assasinated because I believe that the assasination was the biggest cause of WWI.

I think that the worst way to die would be dying from toxic gas. These gases were designed to be painful and slow. I think that the war would've eventually started due to all the tensions in Europe. The assasination just sped up the tensions and was the one thing that finally broke the balance.
In my opinion, the worst way to die in battle would be dying slowly by a toxic chemical or something like that .thinking of your family that you won't be able to see them anymore. I don't think the war would've happened if the archduke was not assassinated.
I feel like the worst way to die in a battle would be by some sort of gas or chemical. The pain in your lungs and knowing that there would be nothing to do about it would be pretty terrible. I think that the war still would've happened if the archduke wasn't assassinated because of all the tension in the area at the time.

I think that the worse way to die in battle is dieing slowly. I wouldn't want to get gassed out in a War. I think that the cause of WWI was the assasination of of Archduke because a lot of people got mad and they did not want that to happen. I would want to die right away if I died.
I think the worst way to die in battle would be torture by the enemy until death and yes i'm sure there were a lot more worst ways to die becasue there were just so many terrible things that happend in WW1. I agree that there were so so many horrible ways to die during World War 1. It's absurd and bizarre how tragic and torturous this war was. With all of the new weapons/technology, so many new ways to hurt people came about, and it's sad.
I think there are tons of bad ways to die in battle but I think anything with bleeding out and anything with your limbs that would come off. I think the war would have been delayed for a few more years but the war would have happend no matter what just because Germany was a new country.
I believe that the worst way to die in war would either be by gas or burning alive because you would either slowly melt to death or be over come by blisters inside and out, these would each be very painful ways to die and i dont think that the ww1 would of happened if the arch duke lived
I think that the worst way to die in battle would be to blow up from from a bomb explosion. I agree getting stabbed by a bayonet would be second worst because of all the pain you would go through.
