WWI was one of the biggest wars the US has ever seen, 20 million people died in world war 1 and I'm sure a lot more were injured, and yet it only took 4 years of battle to become the the greatest war of the decade. There were a lot of specially made weapons in WWI and 2/3 of them were bayonets that was used mainly by the french and germany. Most of the french used them more for hand to hand combat, but there were some that did use it for long range shooting. The british used mortars that was used as a cannon that launched explosive shells that would land everywhere and kill thousand of people if not, more. Mortars are like bombers in the sense that they both can kill tons of people at the same time.
Questions
1 What do you think is the worst way to die in battle?
I believe the worst way to go out in battle is Getting blownup by a mortar or getting stabbed by a bayonet because you go through a lot of pain.
2 If the archduke wasn't assasinated, do you think the war woud've still eventually happened, or do you think none of the war would've happened?
I believe that it wouldn't have happened if the archduke wasn't assasinated because I believe that the assasination was the biggest cause of WWI.

I think it would definetly scare me if i got blown up because it would come out of nowhere when no one is expecting it. I also believe that there could have been many other reasons for WWI so it could have been caused at any time by anything.
I think the the worst way to die would be the way they did at Osoweic Fortress in Russia where they were litterally spitting out bits of their lungs after a gas attack only to come back for a counter attack and drive back the germans.
I think the worst way to die in battle would be from a gas attack or some infection because they are both slow killers. I do think that if the archduke wasn't assassinated the great war would have still happened because the archduke's assassination was just the trigger it wasn't the only reason tension built up.
I think that the worst way to die in battle would be getting burnt to death because you are laying there trying to put yourself out but 9/10 you can't or getting blown up. I think that world war 1 still would have started but just not as soon as it did. I think that there were tensions between countries that would have led to the start of World War 1.
I feel like a very bad way to die is to be lit on fire with a flame thrower. I feel like if the archduke wasn't assasinated a world war would have still happened. It was honestly bound to happen and if this didn't detonate the war something else would've.
Yea because Otto Von Bismark predicted that a great war would come out of a foolish thing in the balkans.
I think the worst way to die in war would be suffereing from a stab or gun shot wound that isn't in a vital area and you would just sit and suffer for a long time in a lot of pain before you die. I think that if the assasination didn't happen that specific war would not have happened but I think that there would have been some sort of war sometime in the future.
I think that there were far more reasons than just the archduke's assassination which caused ww1. I think that whether or not the archduke was killed, the tension in the world would've kept growing and more alliances would be formed and more weapons would have been made. Without the archduke dying, countries just would've had more time to get ready to kill eachother.
Probably getting gassed or being shot and bleeding to death. If archduke was not assasinated I personally don't think the war would have started as soon as it did. But the war would have eventually started from other reasons.
I agree with you I think that getting gassed would be awful along with bleeding to death because you have to sit through a lot pain for a long time before you actually die. I also think that there would have been a war for other reasons but it would not have started as soon.
