Imagine having a fully paid internship to taste test candy for eight to twelve weeks. In Chicago, Mars Wrigley announced they are going to offer an internship to a certain candy lover willing to test new candy flavors. The winning canidate will also be in charge of organizing public activities for the company, creating their own chewing gum flavor, visiting other Wrigley facilities across the country, and sharing their experience on social media. Wrigley is looking for an intern who is at least 21 years old, and who isn't afraid to walk up to someone's house on Halloween to ring their doorbell. They would also like them to have passion for Chicago, and be able to keep a potted peppermint plant alive for a minimum of eight weeks.
Would you take the job to become a candy taste tester?
I would the job in a heart beat. Taste testing candy with full pay for eight to twelve weeks sounds like a blast. I would also like the idea of getting to opportunity to make my own gum flavor.
If you got the internship, what kind of gum flavor would you like to produce?
If I got the internship, I would create a fruit punch type gum flavor, or a sour cherry or apple. I would also want the flavor to last for a couple of hours instead of wearing away in ten minutes.

I would join the job fast. Tasting candy for a job would be amazing because its not hard and it could be fun. It would be super easy to spread good awarness on social media and all that. If I got the internship I would create a skittles flavored gum. I would make it not last long but only 25 cents a pack so you can make profit.
I agree, I would join the job fast because it's not hard and could be fun. It would also be easy to spread awareness on social media. I think a skittles flavored gum would be awesome and I would buy it for 25 cents.
It's interesting you also include the pricing you'd arrange the gum at. I'm not sure if they'd take it into consideration, but it is a smart and money saving idea for the consumers. I believe they already have a Skittles Gum, but it's only bubble gum flavored and not flavored as the actual skittles.
How could you not? It will help many others who can't afford to get a big time job and will help people start off their job career. I mean come on you get paid for test tasting candy.
No Tanner. I would not make Skittles flavor gum. I honestly think you should make Bleach flavored gum. Putting 25 Bleach gums in each package would be a huge profit. Once you make all that money you can do a backflip and dab. Nice haircut by the way.
Yes I would for sure take that job. Tasting candy and living life in Chicago sounds awesome. I feel like some of the candy would be bad and I might even get tired of it after while but I would still do it.
You right the job could get tiring and boring and yes some could be nasty. If you had to try nasty candy over and over it would be nasty. Chicago would be pretty dope to live at to and i mean its a easy job where you dont really have to do stuff.
I would definitely take the job to be a candy taste tester, getting paid to taste candy that would be easy as cake. If i got an internship and got to pick a kind of gum that i would produce it would be a hubba bubba and juicy fruit mix for a burst of flavor. I dont get who wouldnt take the job to taste test candy.
I think the candy testing job would also be a piece of cake. I also do not understand why someone would not want to take this internship because I think it would also be fun to participate in. I think a new hubba bubba flavor would be awesome.
Yes Dalton I agree. It would be fun to just sit around and do nothing and then taste candy for a living lol. It would be a huge vacation basically. Yo Dalton we can go together.
