Worlds smallest frog.

The worlds smallest frogs are smaller then a penny. The two were found in Papua New Guinea. It is unlikely that the researchers will find any more frogs smaller then these two. The female frogs can only produce two eggs so it is hard for these frogs to reproduce. Check out the site and comment on what you think.

  • They are so cute!!!! How are they even considered a frog? I guess they have to have the traits of an amphibian somehow with dna testing and physical traits! ahhh i just love em:)
  • Wow! That's a really small frog! The smallest one that I have seen was maybe the size of a ping-pong ball, but as small as a penny is tiny. Are they an endangered species?

  • wow that is extremley tiny! i wonder how they even discovered such small little things. wow they are soo tiny and cute.

  • They're probably so rare just because you never find them. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack except the needle can run away and hide in thousands of other piles of hay. That and their biggest foe is probably feet.
