Several issues have popped up around the world with internet hacking. In today's times may people aren't as smart with their devices, allowing hackers to have more of an easy time getting in. Most people don't realize how big of a problem hacking can be. Hackers now have the ability to turn any device connected to the Internet into a super cyber-weapon that can take down major websites. Potentially, hackers could get access to dangerous things causing major destruction to our economy world wide.

1. What do you think the main reason for why people hack is?
2. How do you think we can prevent hacking?
My Answers:
I think most people do it for money and the feeling of control. To prevent this we can make sure to have more than one password to things and never leave anything open or give out information to the web. Also beware of what you open online.

I think part of it is just the thrill. They might do it for the excitement of taking down a major company's website or even just exposing someone's personal information. Another reason could be money if they are hired to do the hacking or if they can get passwords and such for bank accounts. More and more updates on technology and a lot of password protection and firewalls can protect from hacking.
I think why many people hack into devices are to feel powerful and steal information. We can prevent hacking by setting longer and more complicated passwords, having more than 1 password, or not putting passwords on things that people can see or read. This could prevent most of it.
Setting longer and more complicated passwords could work as long as you don't forget them!
To feel powerful and to show what they can do, if you mess with them. By using a lot longer passwords, to log off when using any social accounts, and to maybe actually read the agreement terms when agreeing to anything. I know for a fact that when I update my iphone I don't want to read through the long agreement, so I just hit agree right away...
I am the same way! People nowadays just don't want to take the time to do it which we should start doing because we actually don't know what we are agreeing to which can be dangerous and several ways.
I think the main reason that people hack is that they want to take advantage of the power that can easily take over someone else's device, or even steal and take over devices/credit cards/etc. We can prevent this by being more aware of viruses and unsafe sites that are potential to viruses.
Or when our device gets a virus of some sort we need to make sure to take it somewhere so it can be fixed and stopped instead of waiting forever.
I think people hack to show what they are capable of and just to flat out annoy people. I think we can prevent this by making sure we have everything secured with passwords and just get better security all around.
Trying to be annoying and even getting into other people's business is so true.
