World hunger has been a problem for ages even though we in the United States haven’t noticed as much as others. People in third world countries have felt it because they either can’t grow their own food, or they can’t get any imported. The people in these countries are suffering because they can’t food and are dying because of it. Sadly, this issue will only get worse over time because of the growing population and less farmland.
The more we farm food the less land we will have for farming because farming destroys land. Eventually, we will run out of land unless we find ways to preserve land and still farm it. Some ways we can do this are no till farming which will preserve the soil and crop cycles which will keep nutrients in the soil. If we don’t do anything the end of humanity is not to far away.
The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) was found in November of 1945. Their mission is to coordinate governments and agencies to improving agriculture and making food for people in need. They also help third word countries further their technology in agriculture. They were founded in Quebec City, Canada and their headquarters is in Rome, Italy and their Director is Qu Dongyu of China.

I think that not wasteing food is important. I also think that as the population grows their will be more need for food however food will be a limited recorces and it will likely limmit the population of the world someday because their is only so much food we can grow on Earth
I do think that world hunger could be part of the downfall of humanity but there are a lot of other things contributing to the downfall. For example, global warming and pollution. We need to not waste the amount of food that we are right now.
I feel that not having enought food wouldn't be what ends humanity. Seeing as how pollution is increasing, climate change is happening, and our earth is getting hotter than what it has ever been, we will most likely die due to those reasons than not having enough food. We need to decrease the amount of food that is being wasted in our country. Restaurants could donate their leftover food to agencies that help feed those who can't afford it. We could donate more money to places that help send food to these third world countries so that we can help them get back to being healthy.
No I can’t believe that. It is hard to imagine knowing that you can’t go and get you a snack or something. And I don’t think the humanity will die because of that because there are so many donations for that.
I think that we will have enough food because there are other ways of getting food besides farming, but we would just not have as much of a variety to choose from. It could definitely become a downfall in other countries that don't have a good place to farm food. I think that we should have enough food for a while but in later years could start to become a problem that we need to start fixing now.
I do think the dearth of food in other world countries could become the downfall of the country all together. I think ways we could help is to stop wasting uneaten food and throwing away left overs. approximately one pound of food is wasted per person every single day in the united states. We can stop wasting and start saving, not only food but people as well.
I don't totally agree with some of your logic about how the more we farm the less land we will have. I think that the main thing that we can do to help with other people starving is the distribution of food. Many people that aren't living in 3rd world countries have extra food and lots of food goes to waste. More foods should get sent to areas that really need it.
I think it could be one of the reasons our race comes to an end, but there are many other pressing matters like pollution, global warming, and flooding due to sea ice melting. There really aren't ways to preserve food but to grow more of it and to do it more efficiently.
Not having enough food will be the downfall of humanity. If we're not able to feed everyone, people are going to die. If these people die though, we could get more food production to feed more people, but we would have to figure something out to get more food on tables.
