A women was beaten, raped and held captive in a wooden box. She went missing in 1977 by a California man and his wife. She wrote a book called "Calling Stan" She did escape because people like us that have not went through threw it don't know the torture that they went through. The abductor got to them by torture, rape, abuse, threats and maybe stories. After a certain amount of time you just believe it and you do what every you have to do just to survive. When the women that were held captive were released they didn't turn them into the police the wife did. One reason she didn't was because she was free and wanted to put it behind her and because his wife had begged her not to turn him in because he was going to do it again.

DISGUSTING!!!!! Why would someone do this?! aand then release them and beg them not to tell so they can do it again? what the heck?!
I cant believe people are like this, i don't get the point its disgusting he deserves to be in jail for life.
