One of the current issues in America would be the problem with women empowerment. Where women fight for “equality” but what is it they are truly fighting for. Well in my opinion they are fighting for equality but only he benefits. What do I mean ? Well, let's say a woman works in an office job. Many women say they should be paid as much as someone else in a more dangerous job such as construction law enforcement or other dangerous jobs you can think of.
But they don’t want the bad things about that. Like working the more dangerous job.
When there was a talk about including women in the draft all the “Feminists” immediately stopped caring about equality or even talked about how to dodge the draft. It seems like they don’t want to do hard tasks or Quote on quote man work. But not all women are like this and I acknowledge this but there is the majority that believe this. And think all women should be able to get all benefits a man gets without all the work. In conclusion, not all women want equality but only the benefits of the hard work.
but i wanna know what do you think about the topic anything i left out or any facts you want to bring to the table.

Austin,
Your topic is fine but your title misrepresents what you talk about. It appears that it will be about the postives of women's empowerment but you go down a different road. You might change your title to reflect that. Also, be sure to capitalize key words in your title as well.
I mentioned this to you in class, but as a male, you really should be careful when discussding this topic. What I would suggest is to do a little more education on the topic with some actual sources that back up your theory.
The bigger issue is that you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I understand where you are coming from but also have to say that there are women in the workforces that not everyone wants to be in. I think that maybe we don't see those women sometimes because they are hidden. I also think that we are fighting because around the world women don't have the opportunities that we have here. We just want everyone to have the same opportunities and achievments.
I think you are completely wrong, no one wants the dangerous work, no matter if you are women or men, but they do it because they need the money. I think the minorities of women think what you are saying about just wanting the benefits without working for it. Women are fighting for their rights and equal pay in any type of job.
I think that being paid for doing the same work as a man does is fine. They shouldnt be paid more though if they are doing less or easier work. Money depends on how much work you do, not what gender you are for most cases anyway. Most jobs now pay men and women equally, and I think most of the jobs are pretty fair. Positions in the job also play a big role on how much you get paid also. They may seem like the same job, but can be very different.
This is coming from a trans man, women are fighting for equal rights and equal pay. Some women do want to do the dirty and hard work, some want to do an easy office job, it really just depends on the person. Women should be paid the same as men, doesn't matter what job it is.
I think it's more the fact we want paid for the same work. Like we want the same work for a guy works the same job as we do. Also women really aren't built for those kind of jobs. It's know that men have more muscle mass and we just don't. So I don't see your comparison.
I believe women aren't asking for an office job. I feel like they can do whatever they want as a job but still recieve the same equality as men. Women can work just as hard as men do in any job or task. Yes, in some cases men might be a little bit better at a job, but that shouldn't change the difference between salaries of the two. I feel like if the man works harder and longer than the women, yes, he should get paid more. But, if they are both working just as hard, then it should be equalized. I think its a 50- 50 situation. What I mean is no, I don't think men should be paid over women and women over men, but just so that they are equal and women recieve the privleges in jobs like men do.
I disagree with you somewhat because women are not asking for equal pay of the job they aren't working, they're asking for equal pay for the same job as men. For instance, women's soccer. The women's US soccer team has been fighting for equal pay around 2016 when some players sued the United States Soccer Federation for unequal pay. The average salary during the 2019 World Cup for men was $263,320 or $13,166 per game whereas the women's was only $99,000 or $4,950. During this tournament the women's team went onto win the tournament and the men's team lost in the quarterfinals.
I believe that most women are not asking for an office job to pay as much as a construction job -- I think that they just want to be paid fairly across the board. So, if a woman works an office job just like a her co-worker, of whom is a male, and they are at the same position in their office heirarchy, then they should be paid fairly. I don't like when it's taken out of context, however. I do not want females being paid over males, and I do not want males being paid over females. It's a double edged sword, and it swings both ways. Men and women are equal, and it is wrong to assume that a woman would not work as hard as a man.
What about the way women are treated and how us girls need to wear certain clothes just to please people. There is so much more reasons to why woman want to be treated equally as men do. Also many woman work in those dangerous jobs like firefighting, construction, police, and many more. So before you go and say "woman want equal pay but they don't want to work those hard jobs" think again. It's the fact that woman are usually down graded to men. So I feel you did miss a lot of research and need to look a bit more up.
