WOMAN WANTS FACEBOOK TO RECOGNIZE HOMETOWN OF 'EFFIN'

An Irish woman said she hasn't been able to attach her hometown to her Facebook profile because of the town name's similarity to a bad word.The 47-year-old said, "I'm a proud Effin woman. There are other Effin people around the world, and they want to put down that Effin is their home town."

Now this is funny if you read what she said as a bad word

    I think: its not the real word..so not relevant. its a town so they should put it on facebook. what is the big deal?

    That's funny- but sad at the same time. Our society is so foul minded that a woman can't even put the name of her homtown down on Facebook because of it's slang meaning...
