A Tennessee woman (Katie Nichols) admits to stabbing her mother 3 times because she thinks her mother is the leader of a satanic cult.. Katie claims that one day she came home and found out that her mom was the ring leader and was trying to kill her daughter. Katie stabbed her mother in the neck, chest, and stomach. Her mother is currently in intensive care.

I think I would go to the police right away before trying to kill my mom.
Obviously they have a good mother-daughter relationship. If my mother was in a cult I would just call the police.
I think i would pack my bags and move away. It's just as crazy to stab your mom as it is to be the leader of a satanic cult.
I think Katie should have called the cops instead of hurting her mom. And maybe her mom could have gotten mental help
They are both stupid, I think the mom should have had some help and the daughter should have tried to call the police before she just killed her mother.

I can see where the daughter is coming from because I would probably be scared if I thought my mom was the leader of a cult too. I don't think I would be able to stab my mom though. I think I would have to talk to her about it and figure out what was really going on.
Well if I were the daughter I would want proof so I think she should have called the police to investigate it first. It is somewhat understandable though because she is a new mother and she is trying to protect her so overall i think she just overacted because she was scared and alone.
I think she could have gone about this a safer way and told someone that she thought her mom was crazy.
