In Miami, Florida, on March 17th around 5 AM, Mariah Michelle Logan, 23, was out driving with three of her friends when this incident occured. Sitting in the right rear passenger seat, Logan was hanging out the window and eventually fell out of the car. An unknown male driver was traveling behind the four girls and hit Logan when she fell out of the car she was in. The driver who hit Logan then fled the scene, leading officials to investigate the case as a homicide. "'[The Hyundia] (the car the women were driving) changed lanes from the outside to the center lane. [Logan then fell onto the outside lane. [The Range Rover] (the car of the unknown male) stopped, then left the scene without giving any further information," the crime report said. State police have declared that it is still unclear if any alcohol was involved.

Do you think there was a possibility that there was alcohol involved? If so, should the woman driving be charged with DUI (if she was under the influence too)?
Considering this happened early on Saint Patrick's Day, I think there's definitely a chance that the women were consuming alcoholic beverages and this was a product of that. Even if the woman driving was under the influence, I'm not sure if they can charge her with DUI after this already happened.
Do you think the driver of the other vehicle purposely drove off because he didn't want the consequences, or he drove off 'accidentally' because he was in shock?
My guess is that it was a bit of both. I'm sure he knew that if he stopped and dealt with the situation that he'd have consequences, whether it be jail time, probation, etc. However, the accident probably happened so fast that he didn't register what had happened and drove off out of shock.

Good job overall! Be sure to stay away from yes/no questions unless you have a follow up like you do in your first question. I also think you could have replied a few more times.
I think that there was a possibility of alcohol being involved, but I don't think the woman should be charged with a DUI because there is no proof that her blood alcohol content was above the legal driving limit. It wasn't fully the other woman's fault as she only changed lanes, Logan was the one hanging out of the car. I think that he definitely didn't want the consequences, but if he stayed it most likely wouldn't be his fault because she fell out of the car. How could he have seen her so soon to stop.
I definitely agree with you that the unknown driver wouldn't have been able to stop in time to not hit Logan. I also agree with you that if the driver would have stayed, he'd have less consequences than if he is found later.
If the dirver was drunk, she should be charged. Morgan should not have been hanging out the window. The women where most likely drunk if it was St. Patricks day. I think it was both. He may have been drunk and not wanted a DUI. But he may have also been shocked.
I don't think the unknown driver was drunk. I think the suddenness of the woman falling out the window and him hitting her was purely an accident that he couldn't avoid (depending on how far away his car was from theirs- I'm guessing since the woman's car was switching lanes they were pretty close)
I think it is a possibility. Even more so since he hit and ran. If he was intoxicated he might of not stopped to keep himself from getting in trouble. But in reality he is going to get in more trouble now. It is hard to say why he drove off.
There could have been a possibility since she was hanging out of the window, I mean yes because she was drinking and kinda caused this whole thing to happen. I think he drove off because it happened so fast and he was probably shocked about what happened. Honestly he maybe didn't know he ran her over...idk anything could have happened.
I do not believe that people would be that dumb to do something like this without being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, so I definitely believe that acohol or something was involved with this. She probably deserves a DUI if she was under the influence. I believe that it was a bit of both, but I definitly believe that they would have been fine if they would have stayed. It was most likely not their fault.
I agree with what you said and that people wouldn't be that dumb to do something like this without being under the influence. Hanging out a car window sounds like something a teenager would do, not a 23-year-old.
I really dont think alcohol was involved because all she did was switch lanes, but then again there friend was being stupid and was hanging out the window so it is a possability and yes if so she should be given a dui
I think he drove off in shock because that wouldent be his fault it would be the victum that had almost his whole body out the window
