A woman who is a dental nurse has eaten approximately 4,000 sponges and over 100 bars of soap due to a rare disorder called pica. She believes she may have gotten this after she contracted hookworm when she was in Morroco. A very strange story, here.

Eating sponges and soaps wouldn't that be gross. I wonder how her friends found out and what they thought when they found out!!
Ew that's nasty. Wouldn't that give her even more medical problems from the content of the soap and the consistency of the sponges? Well, no one can tell her what to do. I just think that's really disgusting.
i am surprised that she could eat that much soap without having more severe stomach issues! I wonder how long she can live like that!
That sounds nasty! just thinking when parents put soap in there kids mouth is nasty and now she eats bars of soap thats even worse!! I think it would be hard to eat a sponge but i guess not since shes eaten 4000.
That is really odd that she would get that from hookworm because she is the one putting into her body all she has to do is stop or don't do it in the first place. What would make a person put a bar of soap into their mouth and eat it? The soap and sponges can't be good for her stomach or any of her digestive system.
wow that's strange. It says that people with that disease also eat things like light bulbs and furniture...is that even possible?!
I couldnt even imagine someone eatin this stuff. Its gross. I wonder how many times she has had to have her stomach pumped?
Haha that is funyy and still really gross but i bet her digestive system is really cleeaned oout
This plan weird and gross. How can her body handle that. I do wonder what it tasted like.
wow that is really weird.. soap is nasty
