A woman who was attacked by a jaguar at an Arizona zoo has apologized for the incident, according to a zoo spokeswoman. The woman returned to the Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park following the attack and said she "feels horrible about the bad publicity the zoo is getting regarding the incident,"The visitor sustained non-life threatening injuries to their arm from one of our female jaguars. At no time was the animal out of its enclosure. The woman was trying to take a selfie near the fence of the jaguar enclosure when the animal reached out and attacked her arm. Adam Wilkerson said he was at the zoo when someone came running around the corner yelling for help."I saw the other girl up against the fence with her arm caught in the jaguar's claws." Wilkerson did not see the actual attack and could not comment on how the victim got so close to the animal."We can promise you nothing will happen to our jaguar," the zoo said. "She's a wild animal and there were proper barriers in place to keep our guests safe -- not a wild animal's fault when barriers are crossed.
How would you feel if a family got hurt trying to take a selfie with a animal?
I would feel bad but I would have trouble understanding why they would cross a barrier to take a pic.
Do you think that there should be a punishment for the zoo or the animal?
I dont think that there should be anything done to the animal or the zoo it wasnt ether of their fault.
How could this be prevented?
Put more workers around the dangerous animals and more barriers.

Good overall but be sure to capitalize key words in your title. Also be sure to work on asking stronger questions, especially question one. -5 late
I would feel bad for the family but I wouldn't understand why they would cross the barrier in the first place. I dont think there should be a punishment on the animal or the zoo becuse it wasn't their fault. I think people should just know they shouldn't cross the barriers because workers won't always be able to stand by every animal, they have more animals they have to take care of.
I would feel bad but I would also know that it was their fault for putting themselves in that situation. The animal and zoo should not be punished, it was not either of their faults. This could be prevented with more signs and education about safety.
1. i mean if they were ignoring safety barriers just to get a photo then theyre just an accident waiting to happen
2. no cause she was the one ignoring safety barriers and therefore she is the one in the wrong
3.make sure people understand safety measures
I also agree that if she was just ingnoring the barriers I think that she was asking for something bad to happen. I also think that the zoo didnt do anything wrong she was the one ignoring the safety measures that are there to protect you.
I would feel bad for the familt but you could have gotten the pic without going over the barrier. Their should be no punishment it was freak accident and it wasnt the zoo or animals falut for it. I have more workers with more dangers animals, have more barriers and signs that don't allow people to go near the animal.
I also think that I would feel bad for the family but there is better ways to get a picture without having to get attacked in the process of doing it. I also think that it wasnt the zoo or animals fault.
Well, I don't think anyone in my family is that dumb to to hop a fence with a wild animal inside. But if it were to happen, I would kind of feel bad, but, also they kind of put theirself in the situation. No, I don't the zoo should be punished, but, I think the lady should've had mor common sense.
I dont believe that anyone in my family would be willing enough to get that close to a wild animal like that just to take a picture. I also I dont think that the zoo should be punished.
1. I would feel bad, but I would be confused on why they went passed the barriers in the first place.
2. I don't think that there should be a punishment for the zoo or the animal because their were barriers in place that the person crossed. Although, I do think that they should maybe put better barriers in case a child would wander past the barriers.
3. I think more staff watching the enclosures would help and better barriers.
