I can see this from both sides; yes it's not fair that only men would have to register, but in both the world wars women were the ones who held down the farms and businesses while the men were gone.
What are your thoughts on this?

I think that it should be a choice because i know that a lot of women dont want to go out and fight. It should be a choice for everyone. If you look back in history a lot of men would have died if the women had fought with them and the women had to stay and take care of the businesses, farms, and their families. I know that a lot of people think they need to so everything is equal, but if everything is supposed to be equal then why are women just being allowed into combat now when men have been able to do forever.
If women can be in combat then they should be able to be in the draft now. they may have a few more exceptions for as to why they shouldn't but they should have to be in the draft.
I don't think they will make women sign up for the draft, because of how much work they did while men were at war. It will be tough question to answer! I hope we don't have to sign up.
I would not be okay with being drafted for the war! Not okay at all. I just don't think women should be drafted at all.
I think it's only fair for both women and men to have to register for the draft. I'm sure that many men would rather not register for the exact same reasons that many women wouldn't want to...(Families to care for, careers to build, life goals to pursue, and lots more.)
I think they should. As much as i wouldn't want to, i know that it wouldn't be right for us to demand equal treatment as women in some things, and not in others. If we want equality, it has to be in everything.
I think that for the sake of full equality they should have to register. If women can get drafted than we don't need them to hold down the farms and businesses, because less men will get drafted.
If women want equal rights then they should register. Simple as that.
No one wants to register but if America is suppose to be an equal nation then everyone in the united states should have to enroll man or women.(or have a choice not to sign up)
I really think there should be a choice for everyone, not just women. I mean, we really haven't had a problem with people signing up for the military in a while have we? It seems like after 9/11 there are more than enough volunteers.
