Gun control refers to the legal measure that is put into place to prevent and resrict the posession and use of firearms. Gun control in the U,S, is specifically causing problems with the republicans who stand by the second amendment. Mass shooting have become more frequent and people have been placing the blame on guns. When Chuck Grassley was here he said something along the lines of how it is not the gun but it is the people who are pulling the triggers of the gun.
To be putting the blame on the gun is like saying my pencil took my test for me. If it were completely and 100% the gun then there would be a problem. Personlly I think we just need to be more cautious with who we are selling guns to. I also think by putting gun control in place is going to cause more problems then just making it harder for those with bad backgrouds to get guns.
With my dad's job involving a gun to keep him safe I may be biased to no contol but he is putting his life on the line to make yours safer. Guns aren't the problem, it is the people who own the gun.
Do you think we should add more restrictions? why?
Do you think guns or people are the problem? why?

I don't think more gun control will completely stop the violence, but it might cut it down a little bit at the very least. I think if there were more requirements in order to get a gun that would help keep guns out of the wrong hands. I think bad people with guns are the problem because I know plenty of people who have guns including my parents and I know they would never do anything bad with them.
I agree with what you are saying because they should be more picky when it comes to the people buying guns. Bad people are the problem and need to be made sure they do not get a gun in their hands. I also agree that I know my parents wouldn't do bad thing with a gun either.
I do feel that we should add more restrictions on the people that buy them and do more research and see if it is legal for them to have a gun. guns aren't the problem the people that have the guns are they chose to make the decision to shoot and the decision last time I checked a gun can't choose what it wants to do.
I think we should do more in depth checks on the buys of the guns and see their history and if they have been to jail/prison. I also agree that the gun is not alive and cannot make choices for itself. the buyer and handler of the gun is what is causing problems.
I think that we need to find a balance between safe gun handling and free second amendment rights. On one hand, I don't think that violent criminal offenders should be given easy access to weapons they can't be trusted with. On the other hand, I think that anyone who wants a gun should be able to obtain one through the right channels. The second amendment was given to us to protect us from tyranny, and that risk will never go away. We cannot infringe upon a person's second amendment rights.
I don't think adding gun restrictions will stop the violence because people will still get guns somehow. I also feel that people are the problem because the person pulling the trigger is the main problem because it's not like the trigger can be pulled by its self. Therefore guns aren't the problem.
i agree that people will continue to get guns no matter what the law is. I also agree that the gun can't shoot by itself. it has to have a force to pull the trigger to be able to shoot. you're right by saying the guns are not the problem and that the people are.
Adding more restrictions will just tick people off even more. By adding restrictions you're taking that persons rights away. All american deserve to have their own rights and taking them away will just create more violence because more people will get mad and killing rates could possibly ascend. I think the people are the problem for sure because it's not like the gun can shoot on its own and can motate to kill certain people. The people behind the guns are definitely the problem.
I also think adding more restrictions will tick people off more than just the thought of gun control being introduced. i agree with you saying that taking them away can create more violence in the world which we do not need. It is most certainly the person behind the gun doing the damage.
I think that adding more restrictions would just make people mad that actually follow the law, and however, it would make it harder for bad people to buy guns. I think that people are the problem a gun cant be fired unless a force pulls the trigger. Guns don't kill, people do.
