Gun control refers to the legal measure that is put into place to prevent and resrict the posession and use of firearms. Gun control in the U,S, is specifically causing problems with the republicans who stand by the second amendment. Mass shooting have become more frequent and people have been placing the blame on guns. When Chuck Grassley was here he said something along the lines of how it is not the gun but it is the people who are pulling the triggers of the gun.
To be putting the blame on the gun is like saying my pencil took my test for me. If it were completely and 100% the gun then there would be a problem. Personlly I think we just need to be more cautious with who we are selling guns to. I also think by putting gun control in place is going to cause more problems then just making it harder for those with bad backgrouds to get guns.
With my dad's job involving a gun to keep him safe I may be biased to no contol but he is putting his life on the line to make yours safer. Guns aren't the problem, it is the people who own the gun.

Yes for sure we should've added more gun restrictions a long time ago. When you want to stop a problem you must stop it by the source. We should have more awareness to mental illnesses considering the majority of people that have commited a mass murder have been diagnosed with some type of mental problem.
I do think that people are the problem which is why in my opinion there should be more awareness and attention brought on mental issues and to help people that are affected by them. Even if you can't blame guns for mass shootings it's a lot more difficult to kill many people in a short period of time with another weapon like a knife, for example.
I dont think that we need more restrictions. I think that we need to enforce the ones we have now harder. There is already a lot of regulation on guns that should be enforced better at certain places. I believe that the people are the problem. If more people carried than the number of deaths from shootings would go down expenentially.
I think that it really isn't the guns that are killing people. It's the people that get ahold of the guns. I feel like we need to add more backkgroind checks before anything too crazy is added. Guns are for making money. They aren't always for the impact of killing or hurting something.
I think we should add more background checks before we add anything too crazy. If we had more background checks the people who shouldn't have guns wouldn't get them in the first place. I think people are the problem. Guns are simply manufactured to make money, and not always with harmful intent. This is why I think that background checks are the better option to make sure the wrong people don't get guns.
I think that its not the guns its the people and the bad people will find a way to get a gun so i think we are just wasting are time by putting more gun rules in. I think it is all the peoples problem because a gun cant shoot by itself and kill people.

I think that people are the problem with this issue. I think this because a gun cannot shoot itself. Somebody needs to be pulling the trigger on the gun in order for it to fire. I do think that there could be restrictions added such as a mental health background check or a current mental health check before the gun can be purchased. However people will find ways to illegally purchase guns more than what is happening now if more restrictions are added.
