Wild Fires burn acres

If you were evacuated from your home because a wildfire was headed right for your neighborhood where would you stay? Would you stay at a shelter, friend's house, or relative? Would you take all of you pictures and important documents with you and where would you keep them?

 

The people that have been evacuated don't know if there will be a house there when they get back or if it will just be ashes and ruins.

    I'd probably stay at a family member's house or a friend's house. I'd probably grab my phone, laptop, pictures, and my blanket!(:

    I agree with all of you that I would grab all of the important stuff like pictures, my phone, and a pillow. That way you would have a picture of all of your memories, your friends phone numbers, and something soft to lay your head on at night. I would also pick either a family or friends house to stay at rather than at a shelter.

    wildfire insurance? but i would stay at friends and take the things that mean something

    That'd be horrible! I don't ever want to go through something like that! I'd be a crying mess!

    I'd probably stay at my grandparent's house if that happened to me! & if i had time i would try to grab my favorite things..

    I would probabley stay at a relatives house. And yes i would take all my inportant stuff.

    I would grab as much as i could carry. My mom is a picture freak, so she would most likely get all of our pictures. Depending on where i was at when i found out about the fire, the first thing that i would grab would be my phone or my pillow.

    I would go live with a relative somewhere nearby out of the fire path. I would clean out the house of all my important stuff, like XC stuff, Track stuff, and all the stuff that is important to me.

    I would stay at a relative or something out of the fires path. If i knew my house was going to get burned i would try and clean the house up for important stuff. This is hard for other people that loose their hole house and maybe all the supplies inside.
