Why Oreos Are Racist

Everybody knows about the beloved oreo cookie. But some people genuinely believe that Oreos are racist. Why do people believe this? It’s because there’s more black than white. Yes, people genuinely believe oreos are racist because there’s more black than white within the cookie. Honestly, it shocks me how people genuinely thinks oreos are racist. They're just cookies. There's not many people who genuinely believe this, but there's still people who do actually believe it, and it kind of scares me. What else do these people believe?

All it is is a cookie. OREOS ARE JUST COOKIES. There’s no way a cookie can be racist. Saying an oreo is racist is like saying a coconut is racist because there’s brown on the outside and white on the inside. A cookie’s color has nothing to do with race. It’s just to make the cookie taste better. Who cares if there’s more black than white, oreos taste good. If you want your oreos to be less racist then dunk it in some milk. There you go, problem solved.

If you genuinely believe oreos are racist, then you need to rethink your life choices. An oreo is just a cookie. Nothing can be racist except people and their actions and/or words. I’m honestly not even surprised it’s people on Twitter who believe cookies are racist. I mean, come on, it’s Twitter, what else did you expect to come from it? Only people on Twitter would genuinely believe that oreos or other foods are racist. People on Twitter will believe anything they see. Or they'll attack you for just about anything. Blue scissors? That's racist towards blue people.

Do you think Oreos are racist?

What would you say to someone who genuinely believes cookies are racist?

    • I would just point and laugh at them. Because that's honestly how stupid these people sound. Like c'mon now, cookies can't be racist. They're just food. Like how can people genuinely believe that a cookie is racist. It's so pointless and stupid.

  • I don't think that oreos are racist. I believe people are overreacting to little things like this. It's just a cookie and people need to stop saying random things are racist. Black is a color that happens to be the color of oreos, that does not mean they are racist.

    • Yeah exactly, it's just a color. Doesn't mean it's racist or has racist intentions. People overreact about anything nowadays, especially over something like this. Just because something is black or white doesn't mean it's racist. These people don't say the ying-yang sign is racist, so why Oreos out of all things?

  • I don't think that an Oreo cookie is racist... that's just crazy. If someone genuinely belived that I would love for them to explain their argument but I seriously doubt that it would be anything substancial.

    • It didn't even surprise me when I first found out that people genuinely believed oreos are "racist." There's no point in trying to reason or argue with them because they're so stuck on the idea that oreo are racist. It'd be really hard to change their mindset.

  • I dont think cookies or oreos are racist. I think that racist thing is too deep in the heads of people and they see problems where no problems are. That is kinda sad and hard to move on like this. I think you should remember what happened but its over now and you should move on and try to make the world better in your doing.

    • Some people believe that racism is planted into EVERYTHING. Well that's true in some cases, like how racism is implanted into our society, that doesn't mean there's racism behind a literal cookie. There's no problem whatsoever and these people just wanna start drama.

  • I STRONGLY believe that oreos aren't racist, Oreos are a cookie and were made to enjoy not to bring it on to your cancel culture list. Why would oreos be racist? theyre a cookie, cookies were made to munch on not to bash lol.

    • Yeah, they were just made so we could have some good snack at parties and other stuff. There's no point in trying to make a cookie racist just for the fun of it. Just because some of these people are crying about how oreos are "racist" doesn't mean the company is gonna change anything.

  • No, I do not think that Oreos are racist because they are just a cookie. I do not think they could be racist because their is no connection at all between racism and Oreo cookies. Also how can they be racist because their are many diverse colors for Oreos.
