Why Oreos Are Racist

Everybody knows about the beloved oreo cookie. But some people genuinely believe that Oreos are racist. Why do people believe this? It’s because there’s more black than white. Yes, people genuinely believe oreos are racist because there’s more black than white within the cookie. Honestly, it shocks me how people genuinely thinks oreos are racist. They're just cookies. There's not many people who genuinely believe this, but there's still people who do actually believe it, and it kind of scares me. What else do these people believe?

All it is is a cookie. OREOS ARE JUST COOKIES. There’s no way a cookie can be racist. Saying an oreo is racist is like saying a coconut is racist because there’s brown on the outside and white on the inside. A cookie’s color has nothing to do with race. It’s just to make the cookie taste better. Who cares if there’s more black than white, oreos taste good. If you want your oreos to be less racist then dunk it in some milk. There you go, problem solved.

If you genuinely believe oreos are racist, then you need to rethink your life choices. An oreo is just a cookie. Nothing can be racist except people and their actions and/or words. I’m honestly not even surprised it’s people on Twitter who believe cookies are racist. I mean, come on, it’s Twitter, what else did you expect to come from it? Only people on Twitter would genuinely believe that oreos or other foods are racist. People on Twitter will believe anything they see. Or they'll attack you for just about anything. Blue scissors? That's racist towards blue people.

Do you think Oreos are racist?

What would you say to someone who genuinely believes cookies are racist?

    • Yeah, there's no point in trying to reason with them. If somebody believes something this stupid then their mind will never change, or only if you convince them enough. That'd probably take hours though. I can't believe how some people can genuinely believe this, and it's not for attention.

  • no I do not nor does most of the popuation with thinking skills higher than that of a dog think why do people think that an oreo was made to be rasist to people after all a white guy made them so if I saw someone who belived this tell them that fact and see what they respond with if they responed with something other than a it was a joke dude

    • There's literally no point whatsoever in trying to reason with these kind of people. Their mind is so fixated on the "fact" that oreos are racist, and they ademantly refuse to believe anything else other than something stupid like this.

  • No Oreos are not racist. The originals were just made like that and I doubt there was any intention of race descrimination along with it. I don't understand how people can actualy think a food is racist. The person that made them could be, not saying they are, but that does not make the intention behind the cookie racist. They're just cookies.

    • I doubt there was any intentions of making a cookie racist. Yeah who knows, maybe the guy who invented oreos is racist? That doesn't mean that the cookie is racist. It's literally just a cookie that's meant to taste good, and they're only that color anyway because of the ingredients.

  • I personally do not think oreos are racist. I think that when the oreo was created it wasn't about how much black needs put in or how much white needs to be puut in. They simply based it off of how much chocolate is enough to even out the vanilla. If someone woud like to agure that it is racist I would really enjoy to listen.

    • It'd be a great conversation to listen to for sure. It probably was just to even out the chocolate and vanilla. But I can assure you that there was no racist intentions by a cookie. A literal cookie. It's just the ingredients used that make it the colors that they are.

  • No Oreos are definitely not racist. There are many flavors and colors of Oreos that there is no way could be racist. So are vanilla Oreos racist because they are all white? No, it's just a color and flavor of a cookie. Cookies themselves cannot be racist because they are just cookies

    • Yeah, like honestly, they're just cookies. Nothing else. They have no racist intention behind them whatsoever. There's only more black than white to even it out, and to make it taste it good. They're only those colors anyway because of the ingredients.

  • I have no idea why anyone would ever think Oreos are racist. I personally think that there's no way Oreos can be racist because its plan cookie. If someone told me that they believed cookies were racist I would genuinely call them stupid.
