Three thieves who tried to rob a shop had to evade the raid because their getaway vehicle made to much noise. It was a donkey.
The trio had to ditch their ill-gotten gains in the early stages of the morn break-in in the heart of Columbia after the donkey stated braying and alerted the po-po. The group had stolen rum, oil, rece, cans of tuna and sardines from the shop in the tiny town of Juan de Acosta. They had planned to ladden the ten year old Xavi, who was stolen of course, and make the escape. Instead Xavi let out a series of "hee-haws" and the three decided to ditch the animal. Xavi kept carrying the stolen goods though since they were left behind.
The shop owner, Fabio Orozco, said, "They came through the roof to rob. They took rum, rice, everything."
Xavi was detained in the town police station for 12 hours until owner Orlando Olivares was notified and came to retreive his belongings, which included: Xavi.

That is funny you wont find that happening in the United States but overall they must have been really dumb to steal stuff on a donkey!
