When I first heard this I was confused, confused that America was helping a 3rd world country with a 10 million dollar deal that is apart of a 25 million dollar deal going to pakistan for other studies. It was put in with the 15 million because there was a possibility that members of congress would of had to read 5,500 pages(which was apart of a larger 2.3 trillion dollar bill) in a 2 hour period. If you don't know what gender study means it is where women aren't treated the same as men, they are lower in class and aren't allowed to do certain things.
Why is president biden wanting a country to have it's women be equal or have the same equality as their men? I don't think it's our area to interfere. But i'm not going to hate on the idea of women equality in a different country it is just a little odd that America is involving itself. Are we trying to have or make other countries be more like us or what. Why are we helping them besides we would be considered a bad country full of terrible people. What are we gaining from helping them with equality?
I don't think that funding pakistan 25 million dollars was a good idea. Our country is 27 trillion dollars in debt since october of 2020. America's struggling workers should be prioritized over gender-specific programs in Pakistan, if we didn't throw a couple billion dollars in relief at foriegn countries the American covid relief check would've been higher than 600 dollars.
How does this benefit us and our country?
Why did it go along with the covid relief package?

Interesting topic choice Edwin! I do think you could have explained the situaton a bit better such as that it was part of the COVID package deal. You mention it in your question and in your last sentnece but it should have been explained in your first paragraph.
Be sure reply on three different days next time instead of just one and be sure to continue commenting.
This does benefit our country, as we could be able to work with female politicians. And we are one of the strongest, most successful countries. In my opinion, we should help other countries. We are all apart of one world. Just because we're seperated by oceans doesn't mean we should feel that we can't/shouldn't help them(if they want/need it of course). As for it being in the covid relief package, that's just one of the ways politicians (I'm assuming Pelosi) managed to "sneak" the money out. It is not nescessary for the covid relief and it's probably one of the stupidest things I've heard of it being included in. And we do need figure out a better way to manage our country's money, but this is something I feel our money is worth going towards.
This benefits our country by having equality across the seas where men are usually in charge. A lot of men are able to rape women and get away from it from how inferior women are. This leads to a lot of illegal abortions which puts the women in life threatening cases and even in trouble from the government. It also promotes better education equality because women are not seen as possible leaders or even any kind of leader. Having a woman as a leader usually is a better thing. They promote more empathetic views and give out better ideas to gain allied countries. I'm not sure why it went with the covid release package, possibly to hide it or keep it under the radar. I just think that giving money to over countries is a good thing if they give us something back. Resources, help, etc. would be nice. I do believe they should have released it another time after helping our own country first.
I'm a little confused on how this relates to covid relief packages, and gender studies. However, I do not think we should just be handing out money to foriegn countries, just because America is in a lot of debt, why dig our hole even deeper. And like you said in your last paragraph, American workers really are struggling, espically with all the job losses, so I just don't think we should be giving money to foreign countries.
I'm not sure why this went along with the covid relief package. I think that American people need the money before the people in other countries. I understand that they are poor, but the American people are struggling right now. Americans deserve the money, not the people in other countries.
I don't think it benefits our country at all to send money to Pakistan. It alsoshould not be part of the covide relief package because it has nothing to do with covid. It was and add-on that democrates put on the covid relief package.
I don't think it benefits us in materialistic ways but it makes us look better as a country. Although, I don't think we should have sent money to help just because I think their is many things in our country that we can improve before we start spending money in other places that don't concern us. I am not really sure why it went along with the covid relief stuff. I think the money could be used in better ways within our country.
I don't think it benifits our country at all. I think Biden pressured himself when he took office. He made all these promises with the BLM movement and probably gender studies too. He thought more about the presidency and less about what responsibilities he would have.
I don't think this benefits our country at all. Our tax dollars should be spent on something important that goes towards our country. We shouldn't be paying taxes that just go towards another country. Other countries have their own money to help themselves.
I feel like this is a major problem in our country we are supplying other countries with millions of dollars that we really could be using here in the united states. We should be more worried about fixing problems in our own country other then worrying about other countries that need help.
