Why are these NFLers retiring early?

Patrick Willis, the san francisco 49er linebacker, has no clue what he'll do next but has no regrets of retiring early. He gave the game all he had and is blessed but he noticed that when some are done playing' they walk around with no hips and cant play with their kids meaning they can hardly walk. willis has his priorities straight and hes not the only one to just walk away.  A steelers linebacker jason worlids but unlike willis he has been plagued with injuries and a few others are also leaving.

Do you think that it was a good idea for them to walk away from i all?

    I think he's smart to leave he has to think about his future

    I think it was a good idea. All good things must come to an end, and he has to think about himself and his health rather than just the sport.

    I think they are smart for leaving.  It is hard to turn down that money and stop playing  the game you love.  They are thinking about their health and families.

    I think that it is probably a smart idea for the ones who are willing to do this.  Because if they are going to or do have a family are going to want to be like a normal family and do everything of a normal family.  Then instead of taking the risk of getting hurt, just give it up and be normal.  They have already made probably at least a good amount of money so may be a good idea.

    They have family that they should be with and taking care of, and they got to retire sometime so why not now.

    I think that it's a smart idea that the players want to be part of their families. I think that they know the risks of playing football and that it is smart of them to consider this.

    I think it is a good idea to retire early from the NFL. They say that the NFL takes years off your life, because it hurts your body. I understand their reasoning, to be able to join time with their kids and be able to play with them.

    If you make it into the NFL you have put everything you have into the games. The NFL is the best of the best and if its players want or need to retire they should be able to. They have made enough money to retire after a few seasons and though we never want them to leave they can leave whenever they feel ready.
