Why?!?!

Is this women crazy!?!?! A mom in California tossed her 7 month old baby from, possibly the second floor of a parking garage next to a hospital. The mother was arrested and the baby is in critical condition. I honestly dont understand why someone would do that.:(...what are your thoughts?

    I don't understand why someone would kill their own child. The mother must have mental issues. If she didn't feel like she could take care of her kid, she could have put the child up for adoption. This is just so sad :(

    It just makes me sick thinking about how any mother could do that to their child. I believe she threw the infant from the fourth floor, but that is besides the point. The point is that if you don't want a child, dont toss your child, give it to someone that would love him. The sad thing is is that she does not show any emotion at all. How can anyone be that cruel? My prayers go out to the 7 month old.

    THATS TERRIBLE! if the baby dies, she deserves the death penalty, I bet shes crazy, because if shes not she would kill herself for doing something like that. CRAZZYY! CHICKK!

    I seriously cannot beleive why you would want to drop you child your suppose to love and take care of out of a window. How could you even get the nerve to do that?! i agree with savanna, i could never even think about doing that to someone i love, especially to my own child!

    I saw that on the news the other morning. If you're going to have a kid take care of it, after all you're the one who got pregnant. It's amazing what people will do when their kids don't stop crying, yelling, etc. Thank god she was arrested. I sure hope the baby will be alright, but as it grows could have a mental disability.

    why would you ever to that? i'm thinking that this mother had some serouis issues.  If you did not want your child you don't through it out the window!! give it up or somthing.  You do not put your baby through this:( what will happen when the baby grows up and finds out what there mother did to themm! :( wayy to sad.

    Oh my goodness! How could anyone ever toss their child out a window? I could never imagine do something like that to someone that you love. This is very sad. :(

    What in the world?!! Did she not want another kid or what?! She should be put in prison for that, because isn't that called abuse? I wonder who would be sick enough to do something like that!

    That is not right at all. Why would a mother do that too her new baby or even a child at all.
