A huge debate has taken over social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter about whether or not there are more wheels or doors in our world today. Although it seems silly, many people feel very passionate about this and actually post their rants on social media. This idea followed in the footsteps of other debates including “the dress”, where people disagreed on the color being black and blue or white and gold. While the internet has been debating, people have been choosing either “team doors” or “team wheels”.
What started as a small debate between friends, turned into a poll on Twitter with over 220,000 votes and over 2,000 comments. Ryan Nixon, who created the poll, asked the internet to “weigh in” on the “stupidest debate” he and his friends were having. This took off in a matter of hours. Some of these comments included the number of wheels cars have, which people argued back with the amount of doors cars have as well. On this poll, wheels ended up winning with 53.6% of the votes. But the argument didn’t stop there. People then took the poll onto other social media platforms, like TikTok, which created even more interesting points between wheels and doors. Combined these types of videos discussing the topic have over 148 million views.
What started as a small debate, is now a widespread dispute. As it continues to grow people begin to become more abstract with what counts as wheels and what counts as doors. I personally think there are more wheels than doors in our world today. This is because we have many different kinds of vehicles, whether they’re toys or not, shopping carts, skateboards, rollerblades, and many other things including wheels. Although I believe that there are more wheels, this debate hasn’t come to a clear and simple conclusion yet because there hasn’t been an expert to come forward and give us the real answer between the two.

This debate is most annoying thing I talked about in my life, but I think there is more wheels in the world. I think this discussion is dumb because who cares if there are more wheels or doors and we probably will never find out.
This has been the talk for a while and could go either way. The tik toks I have seen have definitly changed my mind many times. But, I do think it is wheels. The ammount of wheels on a semi vs the amount of doors on it changes a lot. I think it is wheels.
I feel that there are more wheels by far. There are many tire places that have mountains of tires for miles on end. I do feel that the whole question is dumb and should have never gotten this big. it is an interesting question but it should not be that big of a deal.
I am team wheels because there are so many cars and even hot wheels in the world. Also, on each office chair there are 5 wheels, so in my opinion there are far more wheels than doors. I do think that this discussion is dumb because of how pointless it is.
I personally am tied between the wheels or doors subject and which one I think there is more of. Because there are 4 doors on a car and 4 wheels so it basically cancels out. Many people have made some great points on the subject and I think that there are more doors than wheels.
I think there are more wheels because on hot wheels, there are functioning wheels but no functioning doors. In warehouses, there are forklifts with wheels but no doors and there are conveyer belts with hundreds of wheels. There is a lot of wheels on trains, more wheels than doors.
I am team wheels, there is many reasons. For one in amazon shipment places, they have these rollers things that are very long and covered in wheels. Lawnmowers have four wheels and no doors. There are many doors, but I think there are more doors.
I have mixed feelings about more wheels and doors. I personally could care less what there is more in the world. It is fun hearing other people opioions on what they think. I think there are more doors, I know a lot of people think opposite.

I think there are more wheels than doors in the world. There are so many house appliances that have wheels on them that not a lot of people are aware of, like their drawers and there are lots of mechanical stuff that has wheels on them.
