A huge debate has taken over social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter about whether or not there are more wheels or doors in our world today. Although it seems silly, many people feel very passionate about this and actually post their rants on social media. This idea followed in the footsteps of other debates including “the dress”, where people disagreed on the color being black and blue or white and gold. While the internet has been debating, people have been choosing either “team doors” or “team wheels”.
What started as a small debate between friends, turned into a poll on Twitter with over 220,000 votes and over 2,000 comments. Ryan Nixon, who created the poll, asked the internet to “weigh in” on the “stupidest debate” he and his friends were having. This took off in a matter of hours. Some of these comments included the number of wheels cars have, which people argued back with the amount of doors cars have as well. On this poll, wheels ended up winning with 53.6% of the votes. But the argument didn’t stop there. People then took the poll onto other social media platforms, like TikTok, which created even more interesting points between wheels and doors. Combined these types of videos discussing the topic have over 148 million views.
What started as a small debate, is now a widespread dispute. As it continues to grow people begin to become more abstract with what counts as wheels and what counts as doors. I personally think there are more wheels than doors in our world today. This is because we have many different kinds of vehicles, whether they’re toys or not, shopping carts, skateboards, rollerblades, and many other things including wheels. Although I believe that there are more wheels, this debate hasn’t come to a clear and simple conclusion yet because there hasn’t been an expert to come forward and give us the real answer between the two.

I persoanlly am team wheels. I think there are more wheels because of how many things we have that use wheels; hot wheels, legos, cars, drawers, some chairs, etc. I do not that this discussion is dumb. I think that it is just a harmless debate that people can have fun with.
I also don't get why anyone would think this question. I personally think this whole debate is dumb and a huge distraction to some people.

I think it's fun too, and what qualifies can honestly be endless which is also pretty fun.
Yes, I do think this discussion is dumb and when I heard it I just wondered how would someone come up with it in the first place. I actually did not hear it from Tik Tok. I heard it from my lunch table first. I am "team wheels" because there are vehicles with more wheels than doors but also it's not clear whats considered a wheel. I think this is really dumb because there is no way to say whether there are more wheels or doors in the world.
This may have been the most stuipdest trend I have even seen. I am on team wheels because of all the things that use wheels, and yes I learned that from tiktok. Also nobody will ever know how many doors nor wheels there are in the world, so I wish we could drop this.
I think this whole trend is kind of getting annoying. I think that there is really no way for this discussion to ever be proved. I personally started as team door and still lean that way, but at this point I just want the debate to end. I think that it should end soon.
This has been taken way to far in my opion, but I think that wheels would win. Just for starter there have been more than 6 billion hot wheels cars sold. The doors on the cars have been painted on so the doors do not open. So they can not be a door. I think wheels would win!
