what would be better, a 4 day school week or a 5 day school week? opinions.

I think 5 days, because when would we play football? thursday? that would be stupid,. Friday Night Lights is a familiar term, it wouldn't be the same saying thursday night lighs, then we'd have to practice on week

I like five days, because if we add an hour on the school day we actually put more hours in, in a year.

I think that we should have a four day week of school, just so we can have more time to sleep(: but really, I dread going to school five days a week. Especially when you're in sports you just want the week to be over so you can sleep in because you're so tired. But then again, if we got had a five day week we'd get farther in our learning and during a long weekend I would probably forget things about what we learned.

4 days because the economy is bad and it will help the school economically. Plus I like the sound of 4 days muuuuuuch better.

i think four day because then you can take short vacations during the school year and not all in the summer. but you also would have to go longer and maybe start earlyer in the year. and have less vacation days for holidays

I think that having a 4 day school week would be great. Since we have such a long day of school you just get tired and you want to sleep!!! if we didnt have school every other Monday that would be great because we wold have a day to sleep and recover.

I really dont have a problem with 5 days a week at school, but i think getting out early on fridays and starting later on mondays would make me happy

well yes it would be great but then it would probably be ALL YEAR. because there is a required amount of school you have to have.

I don't really get to see a bunch of my school friends during the summer; I see them at school. Which is why I'm fine with 5 day school weeks. I guess it doesn't really matter to me either way, but I like getting out of school in the end of May, not early June. Wouldn't we still have to start in August if we had 4 day school weeks? Yeah, that would just prolong school, and I like summer...
