I'm not much of a sports fan, but I've heard of the Joe Paterno scandal. But now the question is, now that he has passed, what will he be remembered for? His status as the best Penn State coach ever, or as a scandal who is described as "weak" by the media with a name that will be forever blackened? What's your opinion?

There will always be memories of both. There will be the crowd that respects him and thought that he was a great coach, but there will also be the crowd that hates his guts, always will, and will never forget the bad things that he did in the last months of his life.
I'm not a fan of sports so I didn't hear about him until the whole scandal. So unfortunately I bet he will be remembered more for the scandal.
But I also bet a lot of the older football fans will remember him as a great coach.
Unfortunately I think he'll be remembered more for the scandal. I had heard of him before the scandal but I wouldn't have been able to pick him out of a line up. Now everyone knows who he is and it just seems like that's how they'll remember him...
